With my family on video chat and my sister Skjelse and my friend Jenna with me at Skjelse's apartment, I opened my mission call. It was such an exciting day and marked the beginning of a journey that I have been looking forward to for a long time. I have been called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! I will be serving in the Porto Alegre South, Brazil mission beginning on September 18th.
